The conclusion of drilling at Nifty in the Pilbara, Western Australia, marks the end of our hashtag  NDI Campaign in collaboration with the Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA)/Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety

Nine holes at Nifty have now been completed between two programs, alongside five holes at Moonera on the Nullarbor.

The program at Nifty aimed to obtain samples using the RoXplorer to 500 m in drill holes along and across strike from the Nifty deposit, up to 20 km distant from the mine. These camp-scale samples provide an unprecedented suite of consistent samples that hashtag MinEx CRC researchers can use to map methods to discover sediment-hosted copper systems.

Three holes were drilled in 2023 before the RoXplorer required some repairs, following which the drilling was conducted BY DIG CT in the Eucla Basin on the Nullarbor before returning to Nifty in late June. Six additional holes were drilled at Nifty between June and September 2024.

An internal workshop on further analyses will likely to be held in January 2025, pending initial geochemical analyses on these samples.
