MinEx CRC is pleased to announce the successful completion of our 27th postgraduate project. Emad Al-Hemyari (Curtin University) formally qualified for his PhD thesis titled:

‘Processing and Inversion of Passive Seismic Data Recorded Using Distributed Acoustic Sensing’.

Emad was supervised by Konstantin Tertyshnikov, Roman Pevzner, Andrej Bona, Olivia Collet (allCurtin University) and Tim Dean (Anglo American).

Emad has been a valued member of the MinEx HDR community throughout his candidature, making significant contributions to student activities and the broader research program.
