Congratulations to the University of South Australia and Geological Survey of WA embedded researcher Emily Finch, recognised as one of the 60 Superstars of STEM for 2020-2021. An initiative of Science and Technology Australia, Superstars of STEM aims to create a critical mass of celebrity Australian women who work as scientists and technologists – role models for young women and girls – and to work towards equal representation in the media of women and men working in all fields in STEM.

Congratulations also to MinEx CRC Board Member Kelly Keates on being named the winner of the 2020 Winnovation Awards in the Engineering category. In addition to her Board position, Kelly is managing director of Zonge Engineering and co-creator of Liquid Integrity Systems, an innovative tech company.
