MinEx CRC congratulates Board Member Kristie Young on reaching four years with the organisation. Kristie joined the MinEx CRC Board in October 2022 and has brought extensive industry experience and perspective to the organisation’s governance and strategic direction.

During her time with MinEx CRC, Kristie has contributed to the organisation well beyond her role as a Board Member. She has participated in MinEx CRC’s Annual Conferences and Mid-Year Science Reviews, including delivering a keynote address and chairing conference sessions, and has presented awards recognising the achievements of our research community.

Kristie has also taken the opportunity to connect directly with MinEx CRC’s postgraduate researchers. She has attended postgraduate student sessions and workshops, sharing insights from her career and experiences in the minerals industry and speaking with students about their own research and career journeys.

Through her Board contribution and engagement across the broader MinEx CRC community, Kristie has supported the organisation’s focus on collaboration, innovation and developing the next generation of minerals professionals.
