This publication explores how zircon U–Pb analyses can be used to extract information about fluid–rock interactions in the Arunta region of Central Australia. By focusing on discordant age data that are often overlooked, the study identified timescales of fluid movement and geological alteration.

These results highlight the importance of re-examining complex datasets to reveal new insights into crustal processes.
